First day in a school

You know, just normal morning, normal breakfast and normal way to school. It was raining out there in the morning, but I decided to just walk to the school. And so I did. When I got to CICE I was soaked. Jacket was all fine and good so my body was almost dry, but the legs...

In the morning we had two teachers. One woman from US for grammar and one guy (don't know where he's from) for some kind of discussion. The woman is also a salsa teacher here in Emarald. I have to say, that I'll need some time getting used to them. They both have some interesting kind of humor and interesting accents and dialects. He is also speaking very quickly, so it's sometimes hard to catch the main idea or question. But I think, that everything will be ok in a week.

I was also told to buy a student's book at the price of €20. I hope these will get back to me maybe next week, when I'll sell it to someone else.

Then it was a lunchtime and because I have prepaid lunches for whole month I got my voucher. What do you thing we got for a lunch? If you guess, that there is meat somewhere, you are definitely right. We had something like a chicken collop, but very thick one, and some salad of choose. No potatoes.

And after lunch (and of course some coffee) I had my first class of real conversation. The teacher was in this case a woman from Cork but well-traveled and the only one that was able to pronounce all the names quite well on the first time. And we have in our class also a student from Japan. That one was really great. I'm really looking forward to speaking with this teacher again, which would be probably tomorrow.

Then I just went home, did some work on Freshland websites, had a pasta for dinner and now played a bit tweaking my notebook. The WiFi driver for Elyssa won't definitely work, but at least the one for Daryna is running smoothly.

Now... 11:31... Think it's time to get to sleep.
